Melodie A. Allen, MS, CAADC
Mel joined Harbor’s staff in October 2016. First and foremost, she is a grateful recovering alcoholic, who has learned to live the life of recovery, to maintain her own sobriety one day at a time. Sobriety has allowed Mel to achieve an AS degree in Criminal Justice, a BS degree in Criminal Justice Investigations, both from Everest University, and a MS in Human Services or Drug and Alcohol Counseling from Post University.
Her previous experience includes working as a residential counselor at Mountain Laurel Recovery Center in Westfield, PA, where she worked with individuals diagnosed with both substance abuse and mental health disorders. In 2015, Mel worked as Harbor Counseling’s intern while completing her master’s degree. Mel currently facilitates several groups at Harbor and also sees clients individually.
Teresa A. Bleggi, BA
Teresa has been a member of Harbor Counseling’s staff since 1998. She came to us from upstate New York, where she graduated from SUNY Oswego with a degree in Public Justice and Sociology, and had been working as a substance abuse counselor for several years.
Teresa has had many different responsibilities during her tenure at Harbor, including prevention work in the local schools, individual and group counseling at our facility, and providing services at Tioga County Prison.
Teresa is a valued member of our management team, using her wisdom, knowledge, and commitment to our clients’ recovery to assist our Director and Clinical Supervisor with program development. Her energy and enthusiasm is an inspiration to our clients and to the rest of our staff.
Terry J. Davis, BSW
Terry joined Harbor Counseling's staff in 2006 as a part-time employee while completing his Bachelor of Social Work degree from Mansfield University. He then became a full-time counselor and has been with us ever since. Terry sees clients individually and facilitates groups at our main office in Wellsboro.
Crystal Deitrick, M.Ed.
Crystal joined our staff in April of 2021. Crystal knew since her 9th grade year that she wanted to become a Counselor, and that is exactly what she did! She graduated in May of 2018 from Lycoming College with her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Human Services. She also obtained her Master of Education Degree in Counseling and Human Services from Lehigh University in May of 2020.
During her time in Allentown, PA, she completed an internship with another Drug and Alcohol Treatment Facility and then worked there part time for a year after graduation. She also provided Mental Health counseling part time at another facility in Allentown, PA during that year. Crystal then felt it was time to come home to where she grew up and serve her community here in Tioga County. She is a Primary Counselor here at Harbor where she provides individual counseling to a full caseload and facilitates many group therapy sessions.
Her approach is rooted within Interpersonal Therapy and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Crystal is working toward obtaining her Licensure for Professional Counseling (LPC) so she may provide both Substance Abuse and Mental Health Counseling at our facility. During her free time she likes to spend time with her family and friends, go camping, read, explore nature, and take walks with her mini dachshund Sophie!
Mandy Myers, BS
In April 2023, Mandy Myers joined the Harbor Counseling team. She has her B.S. in Human Services with a minor in Psychology from Pennsylvania College of Technology. At Harbor Counseling, she facilitates groups and individual sessions.
In Mandy’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on hikes with her four dogs, reading, and baking.
